Getting started
Do I need an account?
No. There is no login and no account — you enter your name during onboarding purely for greetings, and your progress stays on your device.
How much time does it take each day?
During onboarding you choose 5, 15, 30, or 60 minutes a day. Lessons are short exercises, so even the smallest goal moves you forward.
Which languages can the app interface use?
English, Português, Español, and Français. You can switch anytime in Settings or during onboarding; Polish learning content stays in Polish with English glosses.
Lessons and progress
What does a lesson look like?
Quick exercises: fill-in-the-blank Polish grammar with color-coded cases, word-building bricks, listening minimal pairs, and speak-aloud practice — with instant feedback and XP.
What are role-plays?
46 guided, scripted conversations for real situations: cafés, restaurants, pubs, directions, shopping, holidays, work, and family. Each lists your tasks and suggests answers while you practice.
How do streaks and XP work?
Practice days fill your streak calendar; lessons and mini-games earn XP. Quitting a lesson keeps earned XP and never costs you the streak.
Where are my saved words?
Words you star go to the Saved list on the Home tab, with a counter so you can watch it grow.
Speaking and pronunciation
How do I hear Polish words?
Every phrase has a Listen button (native-quality recording) and a Slow turtle button that replays it slowly. If a recording is missing, the app falls back to your device’s Polish voice.
Does the app check my pronunciation?
Speaking exercises use an honest-tap model: the app plays the phrase slowly, you repeat aloud, and tap “I said it!”. There is optional microphone-based recognition on some screens, but scoring is intentionally forgiving — honesty keeps the streak.
Settings and your data
Can I use dark mode?
Yes — Settings offers light and dark themes, and Home follows your choice.
How do I reset my progress?

Does the app work offline?
Lessons, recordings, and progress are stored on-device, so core learning works offline after install.
Troubleshooting
I hear no audio.
Check your media volume (not just ringer), confirm the device has a Polish voice installed for fallback speech, and try the Slow button. If a specific word is silent, report it via Contact with the exact word.
The app looks too big/small.
The app supports system text scaling; if anything overflows at your text size, a screenshot sent via Contact helps us fix it.
Is there a subscription or payment?
